There is never enough time in the day to do all of the things that I want to do. Especially when I’m working on a deadline for something significant. In this case, it’s something that will be released at Market in a couple of weeks.
I’m going to have a booth this time, so I have to be ramped up, just like the first time I went (if you remember from the podcast). I’ve been so consumed by creating quilty stuff that I haven’t had a chance to share this with you:
In fact, I couldn’t even set these boxes up to be a photographically pretty picture. I’m just anxious to let you know, without a beautifully dressed background. And — I’m still doing the “head-down, full speed ahead” run at getting ready for Market.
I’ve been thinking a lot about about podcasts and blogs, and Facebook and Instagram (which is so much easier and quicker to post something). More on this topic later.
Market will be held on October 29- 31st, and there will be lots of hoopla surrounding it, as usual. I will do some Facebook Live videos from Market, and reveal what I’ve been working on. (I’ve used thousands of yards of Aurifil thread from my two collections HERE and HERE, some Robert Kaufman Kona solids and over 100 hours of designing and stitching a brand new quilt that has been 14 years in the making.)
Here’s a little sneak peek:
Are you still there, my quilting friends? Or have you gone on to new horizons?
Please comment below. If you want to know what I’m up to in a timely manner, follow me on Instagram. I’ll let you know when I’m going to do the Facebook Live video, a day ahead of when I broadcast.
Happy quilting!
